If you are a scientist or researcher, chances are that you need to look for a new job right now. If you are a PhD student who is writing up PhD thesis or you are a postdoc who’s position will soon run out, you are here in the right place. In the next few weeks I will be sharing on this blog various productivity strategies and mindset to help you with your job search.

You might be feeling overwhelmed just thinking about needing to start looking for a job. You might be busy with data analysis and writing chapters of your thesis, or if you are a postdoc you might be very busy with several projects and papers and needing to attend many meetings. At the same time you realise that you need to start looking for a job now and not postpone it for later. But the question is how to find time for the job search and how to make it a productive activity and not a time waster.
