Get that thing done! Finally!!!

Get that thing done! Finally!!!

Is there an item on your to-do list that has been there for weeks or even months? It might be something at your work or in your personal life, and it’s been on your mind for a while; it has probably already started weighing you down. You’ve likely been thinking “Why can’t I just get it done? What’s wrong with me?” There is something in the way of getting it down and for one reason or another it just does not get done.

In today’s video I share with you a simple strategy that will help you… get that thing done!  And there are TWO good things that are going to come out of this: 1) you ARE going to get that thing done! and 2) you will also feel much better. In fact, checking this one thing off your to-do list will probably feel 10 times better than checking of an ordinary item off your to-do list. And as we discussed in one of the recent videos, when you feel good you become more productive! So getting this thing done will actually contribute to the increase of your productivity.

In your comments please share what did you get done and what aha-moment did you get out of this!

  1. ACK!! I HATE those never-done To Do items, Olga!

I find that, when one of these appears (and stays…and stays…and stays…) on my To Do list, it’s usually because I was not initially honest enough to acknowledge that I never really intended to do it.

Your brainstorming idea relates very closely to one of the steps I take clients through: I call it “chunking down.” The smaller the steps that go into accomplishing that looming project, the easier it is to start taking them.

Thanks especially for sharing the story about the person who got his intimidating project done in SEVEN MINUTES when he just focused on it and operated under a time constraint!
