In Russia they don’t have this problem

In Russia they don’t have this problem

I’ve just given a productivity talk at the Physics school in Russia, talking about how to overcome procrastination, start writing and get your research paper done.

There was quite an intense moment when during questions time the session chair looked at me and announced that I am here in the wrong place and here in Russia they don’t have such problems as procrastination! He said something else which was quite a strong statement, and is quite disturbing actually.

Watch this video to find out what he said and how it relates to the particular situation you might be in right now.

Here in the picture below, it is me giving the talk at the conference. And in the second picture it is the moment after my talk when the chair makes the statement that the problem of procrastination does not exists for Russian scientists.

In the comments below please share if you have experienced a similar statement that the procrastination does not exist and that you are simply lazy. Also, have you encountered a denial of the problem of procrastination and how did it affect your situation?
